Transportation and Access

For participants intending to use the free shuttle bus (Tsukuba station – AIST)

Please look out for a large orange bus. The operating schedule is as follows:

①Tsukuba station 9:10 departure -> AIST 9:25 arrival  (boarding location: A2 exit, in front of the Koban)

②AIST 18:15 departure -> Tsukuba station 18:30 arrival  (boarding location: AIST central)

③AIST 20:30 departure -> Tsukuba station 20:45 arrival  (boarding location: TBD)

* ②The departure timing of buses from AIST may change depending on the actual end time of the event

Venue & Access

 

For participants using other means of transportation

Please declare your intent to attend the Tsukuba Biomedical Engineering Forum 2025 at the Campus Gate Security, then kindly proceed to the registration counter at the AIST Auditorium.

 

Registration

Venue: AIST Auditorium 1st Floor

Registration fee: Free

  • All participants are requested to register at the counter. Participants who did not pre-register are requested to fill out the “Walk-in registration form” and submit it to the counter
  • Participant badges will be handed out (please wear your badge while within the AIST campus)
  • Participants who registered for the banquet are requested to make payment (cash only) at the counter
  • If you will be attending the industry seminar, please ask for the bento-exchange coupon at the registration counter in the morning (limited number, while stocks last). Please consume your bento at the industry luncheon seminar room (Venue E).

 

Eating and drinking within the venue

Food and beverages should be consumed at the [1st floor drink corner], [2nd floor lobby], [wood deck] only. Kindly refrain from eating and drinking at non-designated locations. Please feel free to use the drink corner.

 

Locations within AIST campus for lunch:

  • Main cafeteria (1st floor Welfare Center, across from the AIST auditorium main entrance)　Payment Method: Cashless Ticket Machine
  • Family Mart (2nd floor Welfare Center, across from the AIST auditorium main entrance)
  • Cafeteria #2 “Picnic” (Welfare Annex, take the forest path behind the AIST pond, 2 min walk)　Payment Method: Cash Only

 

Banquet and Award Ceremony

The award ceremony and banquet will be held after the Forum (awardees will be notified and may attend the banquet for free).

Time: 18:20～20:20

Venue:　Cafeteria #2 “Picnic” (Welfare Annex, take the forest path behind the AIST pond, 2 min walk)

Fee: \5000 (general, post-doc)  \2000 (student)  – Please pay in cash at the registration counter.

*Same-day registration for the Banquet is possible. Please enquire when you register at the counter.

*If you have pre-registered for the Banquet but cancel on the actual day, the Banquet fee will still be charged.
